Better do this now, as I'm reading for my exams than after those, when I actually have time for it!! Yeah, trying to avoid reading for my exams because its soo boring and at the same time very frustrating. I have an exam on Strategic Management on Tuesday (19th of May) and then another one on Rural Tourism (21th of May) and the final about Destination Management of Sustainable Tourism (26th of May). Emphasize on FINAL as that will be the last thing I hopefully do for this university, so cross my fingers and hope I won’t fail! Then after the last exam and the final thing, I’m heading back to good old Finland… for good. I would’ve stayed a bit longer here, you know, to say my good byes to mates and uni friends but apparently my mom has bought a new house, and I need to move her from the old to the new, while she’s working!  good times good times.. Also I might attend a few things during the first weekend, like support a good friend on her run at the women’s ten.. ou yeah, and I need to start or “continue” my job search, the sooner the better, and its hard to do that from here. actually not hard but annoying when you can’t attend any “interviews” of anykind. . . :// (like I had any)

SO, its been a busy month, because I just noticed that its yet again been a month since I last time updated this “awesome” site with my witty sentences and saying .. I’ve or we with our “rural tourism” class went to the Woodhal Spa village to see some sights and examine how that kind of ‘rural’ scenery works and operates, very boring but at the same time very nice and peaceful. I have to say that it was a very nice little village to visit, with its nice and cozy atmosphere. I took some photos which I’ll yet again post under the whole text. . hmm, I also went to the movies to see few films; Date Night,Iron Man 2 (which was brilliant, “you look like, two seals fight over a doughnut”), the comedy film Hot Tub Time Machine and the new Ridley Scott and Russell Crowe version Robin Hood. Robin was actually very surprising, even thought it seemed from the trailers to be like Gladiator with tights. . and as a side note, I have to say that I really like the new “story” of it, and the historical facts about it as well.. hmm .. Iron Man 2 – loved it.. its like going to the candy shop and your surrounded by everything you want and expect .. except you don’t get it all just the good things.. the film was good but could’ve been better, the fact is that its hard to continue with good marks when the first one was such a huge success and a big favorite of mine.. anyhow, the film was good and enjoyable.!!

But yeah, now I’ll again head back to revision and exam groove.. see yas my dears!!

Still got 10 weeks ahead before its Midsummer Eve, 6 weeks till the university comes to an end and a few days to Vappu. Ou yeah, and 2500 words till I’ve written MY LAST essay/paper/assignment for uni. I’ve been very busy “sorta” for the past 2months, as during that time I had to write my dissertation. Ultimately I wrote about 12 000 words of bullshit about The Development of Film/Movie-Induced tourism in New Zealand and Scotland, and in the end, I spent more time design the crappy front page than the whole text. . prolly because you once in a while wanted to have a time off and concentrate on something else than that. In whole my dissertation was a good topic and an interesting one, but in some extent it lost its initial attractiveness when my investigations concluded. These results weren’t as negative as I was hoping them to be, and for that reason the conclusion and the analysis parts might have been a bit too loose and unprofessionally written. At least I got a very good mark on my literature review so.. Thumbs up.
Then after I had returned my diss, which was on the 19th of March, I almost immediately headed back to Finland for my EASTERvacation, which was intended to be a surprise visit for my sis and for her son. Both of them were definitely very surprised when I showed my face. . They were coming or going to my mom’s for Easter and I just, INTENTIONALLY of course, showed up at a gas station. Legendary!!..
Ou yeah, need to say before I forget... Missing you Casper, it’s been over 4 years since you past away (19th of March, 2006) and I still can hear you... so candles have been lit so that you’ll find your way back to me.
Back to the Easter vacation, yeah my surprise was effective and good. And in whole, the trip was a successful journey as I had a blast with Oliver and my sis, while playing numerous boardgames and etc. Also saw some friends that I should have already seen earlier, and whom are moving away to a foreign country. . so farewell to them and a safe journey. . aa . . .
So the vacation ended a week ago, and now I’m back in good old Lincoln, stressing my last assignment. Ou yeah, and of course about the final exams, 3 to be exact.!! good luck ! Also I returned my KIT, meaning my shoulder pads, lowers, and everything relating to American football. My time with Colonials came to an end as the season is now over and my years at the university are almost gone. It was a blast to play with those guys and I definitely made some awesome friends. . also thanks for the souvenir helmet! :D

First of March and they month seems already horrible. Yeah, this month I need to return my dissertation which at the moment is half way, I’ve got 5345 words out of 10 000. So a bit more bullshit and a lot less of doing nothing… BTW, I just read from the papers that PS3 consoles, especially the old ones have been breaking down for the past 2 days. This has been the end result of the leap year being now and the PS3 going berserk for not having a valid date with the server and the console. So, they are now recommending not turning on your consoles so that it won’t break or have corrupted data in it. This has to be the only good thing about not having one here in England. Yeeeey

So, tomorrow I’ll have presentation and a normal FULL day at Uni. I’ve got like classes from 10am till 6pm and then I come home and I pack my stuff, and head for practice that then starts at half7 .. bisi bisi bisi … but, then I’ve got Wednesday and Thursday off from everything, nothing , NADA!! To doo.. just hang and try to resolve my dissertation words..

Change of subject.. The Finnish National Hockey teams, both the women and the men, got bronze medals at the Olympics. Damn we are good. For that reason, or actually for the reason that the Olympics were held, I DID NOT GET a lot of sleep.. I had to always watch every hockey game and almost every event that had Finns competing. In total, we performed miserably, and only got like half of the medals we were “hoping” to get.. and NO GOLD medals.. Anyhow.. good games and good national spirt
