Heya mates, its been 10days. . hehe

Yeah, I just uploaded the photos, the pics, the photographs, and the artistic thingy’s from my previous ventures, to flickr. S now I can post them here for all eyes to see. I'm still missing a few shots from the UEFA Women's Championship finals (England against Germany), where camera’s were banned. But thank god for my friend’s small camera, and her skills on taking pictures. Now I only need to wait till she sends the photos to my email address.
So Sunday going on, and it’s the last in Finland for me. I’m flying back to Lincoln, England next Thursday to start my final year. So, last year, heaps for stuff to do, my dissertation being the biggest one. But I’ll post something “interesting” here about it some other day, WHEN it’s more relevant. This weekend went very fast, on Friday I went with a friend to see the Picasso exhibit at the National Gallery, we also saw the film, The Ugly Truth. To be honest, the film was pretty good, even being a chick-flick. hehe. Also on Friday, I saw my friends new flat on Mannerheimintie in Helsinki. She moved there a week ago, so I needed to go and check it out before I leave. And I have to say “awesome place, and a great flat”, yeah I liked it. . . hmm. . I need to buy a flat like that next summer when my Uni’s over and my “future” is ahead of me . . hehe . . like its not now ahead of me..

but yeah, Saturday came and me and a few of my friends headed to Roni’s house, where he had a small work party, to clean up some basements and cellars from junk. He bought it like 4-5months ago, and since then he’s been renovating it like mad. . after many hours of carrying and working we headed back to Lohja, to Riku’s (my friends) home to play some NHL10 on PS3. We had 8 person tournament, and of course I lost the first game and was dropped at the beginning. . but no worries .. good times anyway. : . .

Ou yeah, on the next day after the UEFA game, which was on thursday, I visited The Finnish Museum of Natural History (which is more like big 'garden'). I was first plannin' to go to Linnanmäki amusement park, but it was closed already. .

Been a busy body for the past weeks, first of all, leaving to England in 2 week exactly, so Uni here I come. I’ll be flying on the 24th of September and will be there till Christmas. But anyhow, now is now, and today I’ll go to the movies with my bro, and to the Cats nightout at the Zoo also.

Hmm, what have I been up to? Yesterday I saw England against Germany at the UEFA Women’s Championship finals. Germany won the gold with 6-2 score, and to be honest, a good match, heaps of goals and some good looking tricks and dapples. Then last weekend I, my bro and a few of my mates held a LAN party, where we evolved to our nerdy forms, so-called primitive forms, and played computer games the whole weekend, haha. Yeah, the good old days, when there wasn’t internet access everywhere and we had to make the effort for everything. . good times. . ou yeah,I got a notice/letter saying that, apparently I’m not inside the Finnish social service standards and they have refused of supporting my studies abroad, and asked for a form Y38 to be sent to them. I this form I should explain my connections to Finland and why should I be treated as a Fin, and not as a foreigner. HAHA, I really need to laugh about it, as it’s only been 2 years since I left Finland to study at Lincoln University, and they are already now asking, why the frek I’m there.

Hello, heya . . I've been behaving like a tourist (turisti, turist, 旅游, turista, turysta, touriste, reisender, toerist, τουρίστας gezgin, turistike, turistické, touristique, turistico, 観光, tūrisma, turystycznych, turističnih) and seen many of my friends.
Okay, to begin with, I spent another day in Helsinki. The whole day I was behaving like a tourist, taking pictures and shit like that, hehe. I got some good photos (or so I think) of the railway station, as well as, of the Finnish Parliament. Also I took some other “misc” photos from that day.

After that on the 15th of August, one of the districts of my home town had its annual ‘celebration’. They put flee markets around that part and have all kinds of sales and programs throughout the particular day. That day was called Virkkala-Päivät (Virkkala-Day). Those shows e.g. consisted on showing some police dog work as well as having numerous local bands playing. I haven’t gone there in ages so it was a good “reminder” to visit. . and, yeah, its still as boring as always.. geesh :) so check them out..

On the 21st I headed AGAIN to Helsinki, to celebrate the Night of the Arts, which is the final day of Helsinki Week and an annual celebration for everyone. Usually there’s like heaps of shit happening around the city from dusk til dawn, so people as enjoying free shows and (mostly) getting’ wasted at the same time. I went there also to celebrate a friend’s birthday, which was a good excuse to get a few beers also. We watched a few “shows” and saw some weird shit happening, like people collapsing to the ground for now reason whatsoever. By the way, also that day there was some sports coming from the World Championships in Athletics in Berling, which we in some extent followed from the telly. . but yeah here’s a few photos from that night. .
